Fjords, midnight sun and water like glass

Bergen to Gulen — 7 nights · Bergen to Bergen · approx. 300 NM

1. Day 1
   Bergen

   Embarkation in the old hanseatic harbour. Take the Fløibanen funicular up Fløyen for the view over the city and the fjords, then dinner among the wooden houses of Bryggen.

2. Day 2
   Finden

   A full day north into the fjords to a sheltered anchorage at Findebotten — perfect for kayaking and paddleboarding. Pick up the famous Synnøve cheese at Finden Farm, or join a local fjord-fishing trip.

3. Day 3
   Flam

   Deep into Aurlandsfjord to Flåm. The Stegastein viewpoint hangs 650 m above the water, and the Flåm Railway climbs past waterfalls to the Hardangervidda plateau — take the train up and the zipline back down.

4. Day 4
   Nærøyfjord

   Into the narrowest arm of all: 18 km long and barely 500 m wide, a UNESCO World Heritage fjord under 1,800 m mountainsides. Ashore at the Viking village of Njardarheim at the head of the fjord.

5. Day 5
   Lusterfjord, Fjærland and Balestrand

   Between the glaciers of Jostedalsbreen and the peaks of Jotunheimen: glacier excursions from the pier at Fjærland, then on to Balestrand for a private tasting and dinner by the water.

6. Day 6
   Gulen

   The coast of 1,500 islands, and a scuba-diver's wonderland: kelp forests, soft coral reefs and the Frankenwald, a 122 m German freighter lying almost intact after 70 years.

7. Day 7
   Gulen to Bergen

   An easy last morning's run south, a final swim in the lee of the islands, and disembarkation in Bergen in the afternoon.

North of the Arctic Circle — 7–10 nights · Bodø to Tromsø · approx. 300 NM

1. Day 1
   Bodø

   Embarkation and an evening crossing of Vestfjorden towards the Lofoten wall.

2. Day 2
   Reine and Kvalvika

   Reine in the morning, then round to Kvalvika, a beach reachable only on foot or by tender.

3. Day 3
   Nusfjord and Henningsvær

   Kayaks through the old fishing harbour, then dinner in Henningsvær on the rocks.

4. Day 4
   Trollfjord

   Into the narrow arm under 1,000 m walls, sea eagles overhead, the yacht alone in the fjord.

5. Day 5
   Vesterålen

   Whale watching by RIB, deep-sea fishing, and the catch cooked on deck by the chef.

6. Day 6
   Senja

   Norway's most cinematic coastline: hiking, a cold plunge and sauna, glacial swimming holes.

7. Day 7
   Tromsø

   Arrival and disembarkation, or stay onboard for the lights if you are cruising late in the season.
